Just published: the European dimension of NATO

(BRUSSELS2) The think tank dedicated to security "Security & Defense Agenda", directed by Giles Merritt, held its annual conference last June on the European dimension of NATO (with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung). In the presence of the Secretary General of the Alliance Anders Fogh Rasmussen, an exceptional panel discussed the future of the Alliance, the implications of the financial crisis on the defense sector as well as the commitment in Afghanistan. The report of the discussions has been published (in English).

In June 2010 the Security & Defense Agenda hosted its annual conference on "NATO's European Dimension" with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. After a keynote speech by NATO Secretary General, high-level speakers discussed the future of the alliance, the implications of the financial crisis on the defense sector, and the way ahead in Afghanistan.
