Unity OSG renounces legal action against the EU

(B2) The private security company, Unity OSG, based in Dubai and Kabul, which was in dispute with the Council of the EU for not having obtained the protection contract
of the forces of the EUPOL police mission in Afghanistan finally gave up acting. An order from the president of the court pronounced, on April 29, in all discretion, the cancellation of this case. It seems that the two parties have found an amicable arrangement to avoid taking this case to court.

  • This is a positive sign from the EU with regard to the PMCs which will end up very quickly constituting a real danger for our own democracies!
