The Belgian Presidency of the EU opens its “Defence” site

Image-19.png
(B2) The Belgian Ministry of Defense is preparing to officially launch its own site for the future Belgian presidency. Official opening on March 1st. But you can already access it. Objective: to provide all the information before the informal meeting of Defense Ministers, on… September 23 and 24, at the International Convention Center (ICC) in Ghent!

Mrs. Ashton has been notified, and can already put it on her agenda

This site has already been in place for a few weeks. But the Belgians, very diplomatically, waited for the end of the informal Defense of the Spaniards. It still contains little information but will thicken as we get closer to the event. There is time after all. We are still under the Spanish presidency. For the moment, there is a whole series of links, notably to national defense ministries, as well as photos of operations. Always useful….

And this in 4 languages: the 3 of the country (Dutch, French, German) + English. A little lesson in multilingualism for most official European sites which have remained monolingual for years.
