Eulex arrests 4 Serbs suspected of war crimes

(B2) 6 a.m. this morning (Wednesday), in Novo Brdo (Novobërdë) in the Gnjilane region of Kosovo, the special “war crimes” investigation unit of the Eulex police began an operation to arrest 4 war criminals, at the request of the Eulex prosecutor. These men and women – Slobodan M. Srecko M. Svetlana S;, Sredjan F. – are suspected of having committed war crimes in April 1999: inhuman treatment, rape and violation of bodily integrity, measures of intimidation and terror, illegal arrest. A fifth person was arrested for obstructing the police. Suspects with strong suspicions – evidence was seized on site – are currently being questioned.
