4 Somali pirates freed by the Brandenburg (update)

(B2) The 4 Somali pirates apprehended by the Brandenburg, A week ago, were released and returned to the water. The Germans did not consider themselves in a position to repatriate them to prosecute them in Germany (in Hamburg, this court having been designated as the court to judge the pirates). And there was a lack of evidence to translate them to Kenya.

(updated 15 Sep)  The body of the deceased "pirate" was handed over on the morning of September 15, according to arrangements organized with the local Somali authorities (in Puntland). The Somali Coast Guard came to meet the war frigate, off Bossasso, with a small police boat, according to Atalanta HQ. And the body officially handed over at 12:41 p.m. local time and repatriated to Somalia.
