British harsh report on Afghanistan

(B2 / summer brief) The British House of Commons published, on August 2, a report “Global security: Afghanistan and Pakistan” which highlights various problems with international engagement in Afghanistan: the refusal of certain States to assume certain burdens in the face of risk, the deficiencies in coordination of the European commitment, the American lead which remains open to criticism and the difficult progress in terms of security in the country, training of security forces or protection of civilians.
