Armored translation booths for ESDP operations

With 22 languages, soldiers or civilians sent on an ESDP mission may have problems understanding each other. Also, very officially, Karl Von Wogau, Chairman of the Defense and Security Sub-Committee of the European Parliament, asked, this April 1st, to the Member States to carry outthe acquisition of shielded interpretation booths. This is to ensure that, even in dangerous situations, everyone will be able to speak in their own language and get simultaneous translation.» Read the press release (in German).
