Russian relief in the Gulf of Aden

(B2) The Russian destroyer Admiral Panteleyev (548) is expected to leave its base in Vladivostok in April and sail off the coast of Somalia to take part in the international anti-piracy operation, a fleet spokesperson announced of the Pacific, according to Ria Novosti. It will relieve another destroyer, the Admiral Vinogradov, present in the area since January. This ship is equipped with sea missiles, 30mm and 100mm cannons. Two Ka-27 helicopters take part on board.
