An Austrian contingent will remain in Chad in the Minucart II

(B2) The Austrian Council of Ministers decided on Tuesday, February 17, to continue the engagement of the Austrian army in Chad, in a slightly reduced format. Instead of 160, the new contingent will be 130 soldiers. The Austrian contingent in Eufor consisted of different elements - driving, transport, repair, support, security, medical as well as special forces (Jagdkommando). These should not stay. In the UN force, the Austrian contingent will in fact mainly provide logistics and transport functions.
