War crimes and search for the missing among the tasks of Eulex

(B2) Among the delicate "rule of law" (EULEX) tasks in Kosovo is the truth about the crimes of the past. The deputy head of the mission, Roye Reeves, recalled this, in Pristina, on October 28, during a conference on justice organized by the Center for Humanitarian Law in Belgrade. Two issues remain fundamental: war crimes and missing persons. Roy Reeves assured that the Eulex mission would take over from the UN on these problems. "We will be reviewing approximately 1200 war crimes cases, which involves approximately 300 pages of documentation." The "Eulex" mission should be fully operational in December. About 000 to 50 new personnel arrive every week.
