A Dutch Hercules C130 as reinforcement for Chad

(BRUSSELS2) A C-130H-30 Hercules from the Dutch Royal Air Force takes off on October 9 from Eindhoven airport. Direction: Chad. It will ensure the transport of equipment and troops for the Europeans of Eufor, between the continent and the various theaters of the operation (Abéché, N'Djamena...), in order to ensure the rotation of the troops.

Thus half of the detachment of Dutch Marines, based in Goz Beida and integrated into the Irish battalion, should be able to return home. The C130 should be operational until the end of October, the Dutch army said. An identical mission had already been carried out last May. The Dutch contingent comprises 60 men.
