German-Czech Trade Union Solidarity

(B2) The Czech trade unions at Siemens have decided to go on strike in solidarity with their German colleagues. Siemens plans to lay off a total of up to 17 workers. And Czech trade unionists fear that Siemens will close its Prague subsidiary altogether. The Kovo trade union in the Czech Republic has thus decided, according to the CTK agency, to join, on Wednesday July 000, the protests of the German trade unions against the layoffs prepared at the Siemens factory in Erlangen, Germany.
