Botanical nights: May 7 to 18

Over the years, the Nuits (du) Botanique, in Brussels, have become an unmissable event. From May 7 to 18, book at least two or three evenings to make real discoveries or rediscover sure values ​​from the Belgian, French, European and American pop, rock and song scenes.

- Balkan Night. After the Touareg night last year, the Botanique decided to honor another musical region. The Balkan Beat Box, a sound, electronic excess, going back to the traditional soil will be joined on stage by the Mahala Rai Banda from Bulgaria (Crammed record company).

• Marquee at the Botanique, Saturday May 10 at 20:00 p.m.

- CocoRosie and the Mons Orchestra. The famous duo of sisters Bianca and Sierra. Two ingenues who have become masters in the art of painting soundscapes, a bit like Cat Power, they say, but also Mum or Sigur Ros. They will be accompanied by the Mons orchestra symphonique. Which should clash. Clarification: the Mons Orchestra will be in a reduced formation (15 musicians), which should facilitate the adaptation - in a heavy formation, the symphonic tends to slow down and often weigh down the lighter pop concept). In the first part, Quinn Walker, a real "UFO" of the American indie scene.
