Basque concert, May 21
(B2) Musikene, the music school of the Basque Country, will be in concert on May 21 at 19:30 p.m. at studio 4 in Flagey as part of the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue and the Council of Ministers of Education which will meet on the same day. Under the direction of José Luis Estelles, the young people will perform Ravel's "Pavane for a Dead Infanta", Stravinsky's "Pulcinella Suite" and Beethoven's 4th Symphony in B flat. Representatives of the Basque community will be present.
Musikene (Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Goi Mailako Musika Ikastegia) offers another concierto, el próximo 21 de mayo –en el Centro Cultural Flagey. Bruselas-, in the mark of the participation of Euskadi in the Consejo de Educación, Juventud y Cultura de la UE (Bruselas, 21-22 May 2008). Programa: Pavane for a Dead Infanta (Ravell), "Pulcinella Suite" (Stravinsky), Symfonía nº 4, op. 60, in B flat major (Beethoven).
