Social Services Conference June 5

(B2) The collective SSIG-EN (Social services of general interest - France) is organising, on 5 June in Brussels (Résidence Palace), a conference debate entitled “Towards a European strategy for SSGI? (social services of general interest), in partnership with six European SSGI organizations and Europolitics.

This conference will be attended by the President of the Committee of the Regions, Michel Delebarre, and the European Commissioner Vladimir Spidla, the parliamentary rapporteurs on SSGI and the health services of the European Parliament (Joel Hasse-Ferreira and Bernadette Vergnaud), those of the Committee of Regions and of the European Economic and Social Committee as well as representatives of the Member States which will ensure the Presidency of the EU for 2007-2008... and yours truly.
