Croatia soon associated with Europe…
(archives) Croatia fulfills the conditions to be associated with the Europe of Fifteen. This is the meaning of the report that the European Commission intends to present in June to the European Ministers of Foreign Affairs. It therefore recommends the opening of negotiations with Croatia with a view to concluding a stabilization and association agreement. Brussels notes progress appreciable in particular on the return of refugees or cooperation with the international criminal tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. (NGV / France-Soir, May 2000)
