The founder of B2: Nicolas Gros-Verheyde

Journalist, since 1989, I fell "very small" in the European bath and specialized in issues of crisis management, "defense-security" and foreign policy of the European Union.

After studying community and European law at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, I started journalism with reports in Eastern Europe (Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Lithuania) for the Paris Daily (under the direction of Paul Cambon and Philippe Tesson) and Truffle (ephemeral) and Parisian radio stations, at a key moment, 1989-1991: the Velvet Revolution in Prague and Bratislava, the first elections in Vilnius, etc.

After a passage in the medical press (Noria Magazine, Nurse magazine, Panorama du Médecin, Doctor Impact) and social (ASH, Lamy, Liaisons sociales), I worked for the Cahier Europe of the daily La Tribune, and devoted myself full-time to European issues, first for the daily France-Soir (at a more glorious than today) and West France, with a television interlude for Art et LCI (the news channel of TF1).

I also collaborated with Europolitics (on social and defense issues), to the Letter of Expansion, to Radio France Emergencies et RFi Music.

In addition to B2, I am now a correspondent for Sud-Ouest and work on security and defense issues for several radio and television channels: RTBF, LN24, France 2, ARTE, Al-Arabiya ou APTN TV, etc..

Graduated fromIHEDN (65th) - the Institute of Higher National Defense Studies - I am currently vice-president of the Press Club Brussels Europe and former vice-president of the AJE (association of European journalists) France section.
