Luxembourg planes stay six months longer

(B2) The Luxembourg Defense Minister, JM Halsdorf, confirmed during a visit to the Atalanta headquarters in Northwood (near London), the Luxembourg maritime patrol planes will remain in the service of the European anti-operation -piracy six more months, until October 2010.

Based in the Seychelles, these private planes, served by the company CAE Aviation, were to stop their mission at the end of March. They will finish it in October 2010. The contract between the Luxembourg government and CAE Aviation is for 4,5 million euros.
