Taking place on May 16th : the 2nd European defence talks

(B2) The Association for the Study of War and Strategy (AEGeS), Sciences Po Grenoble, the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, the GRIP, Confrontations Europe, the lawyer Frédéric Mauro, … and of course B2 – Bruxelles2, are pleased to invite you to the second edition of the European Defence Talks on the topic : “Towards a European army”

In a context of great uncertainty and tensions at the international level, three heads of State and government, the President Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor Angela Merkel and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez have all evoked the necessity of a European army. A taboo was broken. On the eve of the European elections, the time has come to take this project seriously and to reflect on its possible outlines :

A European army, what for ? To which use ? With what ambitions, capabilities and equipment ? In what politico-institutional framework ?

Save the date : Thursday 16th of May 2019, from 8:30AM to 5PM in the university Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Amphi 3). 12 place du Panthéon, 75005 Paris.
